The Assistant Manager plays a critical role in fostering a positive work environment and delivering exceptional customer service. You'll assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant while helping build a cohesive team that excels in providing high-quality food and friendly service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive outstanding customer service while upholding company standards.
  • Support Crew Members and Shift Supervisors in completing their tasks and ensure they serve safe, quality food in a friendly manner.
  • Monitor sales, labor, inventory, and controllables, taking corrective action to achieve growth targets.
  • Supervise restaurant staff in a fast-paced setting while ensuring all food safety protocols are met.
  • Assist in managing the restaurant's budget and financial objectives.
  • Engage in regular and clear communication with team members and field leadership.
  • Build an effective team through thorough training and provide constructive performance feedback.
  • Guarantee food safety, quality, and cleanliness in compliance with health standards.
  • Conduct safety audits and take necessary corrective measures.
  • Ensure the facility and equipment meet Taco Bell standards.
  • Follow all opening and closing procedures.
  • Prioritize guest and employee safety.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Obtain a food handler's certificate per local/state requirements.
  • Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to hygiene standards.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, arrive on time, and be dependable.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in quick service or fast-food restaurants.
  • Preferred: 2 years of food management experience.
  • Preferred: 2 years of drive-thru experience.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to lift 10-40 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods.
