Position Overview:

The Hybrid Support Role is a dynamic, multi-faceted position that supports the front and back of house operations. This role combines responsibilities of Bar Back, Busser, Dishwasher, Prep Cook, and Food Runner to maintain a clean, efficient, and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate is energetic, adaptable, and thrives in a team-oriented, fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Bar Back:

• Restock bar supplies, including liquor, beer, wine, ice, and glassware.
• Clean and maintain bar areas, ensuring a tidy and organized workspace.
• Assist bartenders with preparing garnishes, juices, and other drink components.
• Replace kegs, restock coolers, and manage inventory as directed.

Busser:

• Clear tables promptly and efficiently to ensure a clean dining area.
• Reset tables with utensils, napkins, and condiments according to restaurant standards.
• Assist servers by refilling water, delivering bread, or addressing guest needs.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including floors and service stations.

Dishwasher:

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Ensure a steady supply of clean dishes and equipment for front and back of house operations.
• Assist with waste disposal and recycling as needed.

Prep Cook (As Needed):

• Assist with basic food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, or preparing sauces under the direction of the kitchen staff.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary prep station in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Support inventory organization and storage of ingredients.

Food Runner:

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests’ tables promptly and accurately.
• Ensure food presentation meets restaurant standards before serving.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and serving staff to coordinate timely service.
• Address minor guest requests or escalate to servers as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Physical stamina to stand, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards is a plus.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn multiple roles.

• Hourly Pay: Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
