  • This high-impact role will drive the execution of a strategic investment thesis focused on operational excellence, revenue growth, and value creation to position the company for a successful exit.
  • The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of leadership in the aerospace or manufacturing sector, deep financial acumen, and the ability to align with the PE firm’s vision while navigating a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Position Overview The CEO will be responsible for leading the aerospace manufacturer to achieve the PE firm’s investment objectives, driving operational and financial performance while fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
  • This hybrid role allows for a combination of on-site leadership at the company’s headquarters and remote work, providing flexibility while ensuring close collaboration with the leadership team, employees, and the PE firm’s partners.
  • The CEO will work closely with the PE firm’s board to execute the investment thesis and prepare the company for a successful exit, whether through a sale, IPO, or other strategic outcome.
  • Key Responsibilities Investment Thesis Execution :

    • Deeply understand and implement the PE firm’s investment thesis, aligning all strategic and operational initiatives with the goal of maximizing enterprise value.

    Value Creation :

    • Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue growth, improve profitability, and enhance operational efficiency, ensuring the company is positioned for a successful exit.

    Stakeholder Management :

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with the PE firm’s board, investors, and other key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clear communication of progress and challenges.

    Operational Excellence :

    • Oversee all aspects of the company’s operations, including manufacturing, supply chain, and quality control, to achieve world-class performance standards in the aerospace sector.
    • Manage financial performance, including cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting, to meet or exceed the PE firm’s financial targets.

    Talent Management :

    • Attract, retain, and develop top-tier talent to build a high-performing leadership team and workforce capable of executing the company’s strategic vision.

    Customer Focus :

    • Understand and prioritize customer needs, ensuring the company delivers high-quality products and services that meet or exceed industry standards.
    • Maintain a focus on the PE firm’s exit strategy, tailoring decisions and initiatives to maximize value for a potential sale, IPO, or other exit scenarios.

    Adaptability and Resilience :

    • Navigate the dynamic PE landscape with agility, making rapid decisions under tight timelines while maintaining flexibility to adapt strategies as needed.

    Qualifications Experience :

    • 10+ years of executive leadership experience, preferably as a CEO or senior leader in the aerospace, manufacturing, or related industries.
    • Proven success in driving value creation in a PE-backed or high-growth environment.
    • Experience leading acquisitions, turnarounds, or transformations in a time-sensitive, results-driven setting.

    Industry Knowledge :

    • Deep understanding of the aerospace manufacturing sector, including market dynamics, supply chain management, and regulatory requirements.
    • Strong ability to analyze financial statements, manage cash flow, and make data-driven financial decisions.

    Stakeholder Management :

    • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with a track record of aligning with boards, investors, and other stakeholders.

    Operational Expertise :

    • Demonstrated ability to optimize operations, improve efficiency, and drive performance in a manufacturing environment.

    Leadership :

    Education :
