Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to deliver water for customers in need. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting water safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service. The CDL Contract Truck Driver will operate various types of water trucks, load and offload water to designated tanks, swimming pools, ponds, construction locations, etc.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks equipped with automatic transmissions and various configurations (tanker) for the safe transport of bulk drinking water.
• Load and unload water as required, ensuring proper safe handling and securing of water inlets, outlets, hoses, etc. during transit.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety standards are met.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and water log details in compliance with TCEQ regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving on highways and local roads.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries by being professional and courteous.
• Able to lift 50 pounds as needed.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Truck Driver (with tanker endorsement preferred) with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
• Familiarity with operating different types of trucks, and tankers is preferred.
• Experience with manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
• Strong understanding of load securing techniques and safety protocols in commercial driving.
• Ability to navigate using GPS systems or maps effectively.
• Previous experience in delivery driving or logistics is advantageous but not mandatory.
