The Role
We’re looking for a Cloud PACS Administrator to support and optimize our cloud-based PACS and imaging environment. This role is essential to maintaining system performance, availability, and compliance while supporting radiologists and clinical partners nationwide.
What You’ll Do
\t•\tAdminister and support cloud-based PACS and imaging systems
\t•\tMonitor system performance, uptime, security, and storage
\t•\tSupport DICOM, HL7, RIS, and EMR integrations
\t•\tTroubleshoot imaging, workflow, and connectivity issues
\t•\tCoordinate with radiologists, IT teams, and vendors
\t•\tPerform upgrades, patches, and configuration changes
\t•\tMaintain documentation and support HIPAA compliance
\t•\tParticipate in on-call support as needed
What We’re Looking For
\t•\t3+ years of PACS or medical imaging systems administration experience
\t•\tHands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS and Azure)
\t•\tStrong knowledge of DICOM and radiology workflows
\t•\tExperience supporting teleradiology or 24/7 imaging environments
\t•\tSolid troubleshooting and communication skills
\t•\tAbility to work independently in a remote setting
\t•\tCandidates located in or near the Chicago area are preferred
Nice to Have
\t•\tExperience with cloud PACS or VNA platforms
\t•\tCloud or healthcare IT certifications
\t•\tScripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Python)
