Customs Entry Writer – Boston (Office-Based)
Location: Boston, MA | On-site | Full-time
An international logistics and freight forwarding company is seeking a detail-oriented Customs Entry Writer to join their Boston office. This is a great opportunity to work with a globally respected organization known for its operational excellence and commitment to compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Prepare and submit customs entries for import shipments (air & ocean)
🔹 Ensure full compliance with U.S. Customs and related regulatory requirements
🔹 Communicate with clients, customs brokers, and government agencies
🔹 Resolve delays or discrepancies in the clearance process
🔹 Maintain accurate documentation and records for audits and internal review
Requirements:
✔ 1–3 years of experience in customs brokerage or import operations
✔ Strong working knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations and HTS classification
✔ Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
✔ Experience with systems like Cargowise or similar platforms preferred
✔ Must be comfortable working full-time in an office-based environment
