Summary/objective

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for executing and optimizing digital marketing programs to enhance brand awareness, drive engagement and support business growth. This role manages a variety of online campaigns, coordinates with internal and external stakeholders and leverages analytics to improve performance.

Digital Campaign Management

  • Develop, implement and co-manage digital marketing tactics across email, social media, web and paid media channels.
  • Support email marketing programs, including campaign design, content population, compliance and reporting.
  • Assist in the on-site content management for brand websites and social media channels, prioritizing SEO and usability.
  • Manage content calendars for digital platforms, ensuring timely and relevant updates.

Content Creation & Education

  • Create and/or edit digital content (blogs, articles, social posts, emails) to support key marketing programs.
  • Stay up on recent trends and contribute best practices to Team Members and Franchise Members.
  • Manage internal digital support requests and help educate internal and external stakeholders.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Monitor and analyze performance using analytics tools; report findings and recommendations to management.
  • Assist with the creation of Franchise Member-facing analytics tools and reporting.

Additional Duties

  • Assist with other online programs as needed.
  • Attend meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing strategies with business goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required education and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing.
  • Strong project management and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, Google Business Profile; SEMRush, Emfluence, CMS platforms) is a plus.
  • Understanding of basic SEO, SEM, and web analytics, as well as a desire to learn more.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills; ability to stay current with digital marketing trends.

Work environment

  • Remote and in-person
  • Professional corporate and team-oriented environment from home office

Physical demands

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
  • Standard business hours although some overtime may be required to meet deadlines or manage unexpected issues

Travel required

  • Minimal travel, less than 10%
