*Hybrid- This role is working remote from home except for Tuesdays where you would work in the Auburndale, FL office with the rest of the team. You need to be located near Auburndale, FL due to this.

Please note: This role is working Monday-Friday: 8am-5pm with the additional need to take urgent phone calls and respond to emails outside of those hours

“A Day in the Life”

As a Dispatcher you will be the backbone of our Drivers and communication is key! While you won’t be behind the wheel of a big rig, you are instrumental working hard behind the scenes to ensure that truck drivers meet their appointed arrival times and destinations. Just like an air traffic controller keeps planes rolling on the runway and safely in the air, the Truck Dispatcher's job is to make sure our Truck Drivers gets where it needs to go safely and to keep our customers happy!

“What You’ll Do”

• Provide customer service to customers, drivers and other internal departments
• Facilitate the coordination of equipment movement
• Negotiate with vendors and customers regarding delivery timing, etc
• Execute effective project management and problem resolution
• Effectively provide written communication with customers and vendors
• Perform other duties as assigned

“Must Haves”

• 2 plus years experience working in a professional business environment
• Ability to take phone calls and respond to emails outside of normal working hours
• Customer service experience, utilizing strong inter-personal skills
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills
• Ability to negotiate with vendors and customers
• Experience managing multiple and high-level priorities simultaneously
• Ability to effectively prioritize work assignments
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excels in a fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, professional demeanor
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft including Excel and Word

"Nice to Haves"

• Dispatching drivers and vendor haulers experience a plus
• DOT regulations knowledge a plus
