Job Title: Ed Tech II/III – Support for Students with IEPs In Grades K-8
Location: Acton School Department
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Ed Tech II or III to provide support for students with Individualized
Education Plans (IEPs). The ideal candidate will work closely with teachers and special
education staff to implement accommodations and modifications to ensure student success in
both academic and social settings.
Responsibilities:
? Support students with IEPs by providing individualized or small-group instruction.
? Assist in implementing behavior management strategies.
? Collaborate with teachers to adapt lesson materials and assignments.
? Monitor student progress and report observations to the teaching staff.
? Ensure the safety and well-being of students during classroom activities.
Qualifications:
? Certification as an Educational Technician II or III.
? Prior experience working with students with IEPs or in a special education setting(preferred).
? Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
? Ability to follow directions and work as part of a collaborative team.
