About the Role

The Company is in search of an Executive Director/Vice President of Biostatistics to lead its biostatistics efforts in the development of precision oncology medicines. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the strategy and execution of biomarker-driven clinical development, particularly in the co-development of drug-tailored predictive biomarker tests. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including research, clinical development, biomarker development, data science, regulatory affairs, and quality. The Executive Director/Vice President will also be responsible for ensuring the robustness of statistical methodology in both clinical and diagnostic development studies, supporting real-time decision-making, and contributing to FDA submissions and meetings. Applicants must have a PhD in biostatistics, statistics, mathematics, or a related field, with 8-10 years' of experience in biostatistics for clinical and diagnostic development. Companion diagnostic experience is preferred. The role demands a solid knowledge of statistical methods, practical application skills in R or SAS, and an understanding of the drug and diagnostics co-development process. The ideal candidate will possess excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, and be adept at presenting scientific data to both technical and non-technical audiences. The position is based in Watertown, MA, and the Executive Director/Vice President will report to the Chief Operating Officer.
