Our boutique law firm is expanding, and we are seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will passionately and zealously represent clients in all aspects of family law, offering compassionate guidance during some of life’s most challenging moments. Responsibilities: Develop strategic legal solutions tailored to each client’s unique situation, including prenuptial agreements, divorce, custody/timesharing, alimony/spousal support, and child support matters. Assist clients in dividing marital assets, including real estate, during divorce proceedings. Effectively litigate and advocate for clients when attending court proceedings (via Zoom or in person) as needed to represent clients. Draft and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, judgments, and orders for a high volume of cases. Work collaboratively with senior partners, paralegals, and team members to efficiently move cases through the litigation process. Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience handling family law cases, including litigation and courtroom experience. Proven track record of successfully advocating for clients in emotionally charged and high-stress situations. Strong negotiation and communication skills, especially in sensitive matters involving child custody, domestic violence, and child abuse. Juris Doctor (JD) degree required; must be licensed to practice law in Florida. Extra consideration given to candidates with a criminal justice background.
