Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Job DescriptionThe heavy equipment mechanic is tasked with inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining large construction machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, graders, cranes, and loaders. Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical and hydraulic issues, replacing worn parts, performing routine maintenance checks, and making necessary adjustments to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently. This role often requires the ability to read blueprints, utilize specialized tools, and travel to job sites to service equipment in the field.
ResponsibilitiesThis long-term position offers access to medical, dental, and vision benefits. You will have the opportunity to work on a cutting-edge team that promotes change through research, with an expected workweek of 40+ hours.
Work EnvironmentThe work environment includes a proving ground garage, which can be dusty, dirty, and sometimes require tasks to be completed outdoors.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
