Education and Experience

• Accomplished undergrad or graduate program in engineering, with a focus on mechanical engineering, preferably.
• Previous experience as an intern a plus.

Availability Requirement

• Candidate must be able to commit to a part-time schedule (20 hours/week) for 12-weeks, starting in the Spring semester.
• Flexibility to occasionally adjust hours for plant visits, training, or project deadlines may be required.
• Reports to Eng/Maintenance Manager, functionally to Project Manager.

Role Summary

• Control of contractors
• Oversees installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment
• Coordinate installation
• Data collection
• Analyzes how to improve equipment
• Resolve technical problems implement corrective action

Skills Required

• Proficient in MS Office
• Ability to visualize and sketch equipment and layouts
• People skills to professionally interact with outside contractors
• Develop daily/weekly work plans for contractors
