An excellent career opportunity is currently available for an Industrial Pipe Fitter / Maintenance Mechanic - Level 4, located at UOP's Research & Pilot Plant facility in McCook, IL.

Position Responsibilities:

*Layout, install, and maintain piping and related accessories for all gas, liquid, and steam systems to support R&D Pilot Plant and Manufacturing facilities using safe work practices as defined by Honeywell.

*Perform and lead others on basic and major troubleshooting and repairs on process piping, utility headers, boilers, heat exchangers, and steam tracing.

*Subject Matter Expert in advanced threading, bending, and back welding flanged and socketed pipe.

*Work with all types of hand tools to complete repairs, preventative maintenance, and/or modifications to equipment.

*Support catalyst manufacturing plants through on call schedule and working as a team on jobs requiring more than one person.
