Insurance Billing Specialist
We are seeking a dedicated Insurance Billing Specialist to join our team! This role is ideal for someone who understands the full insurance billing cycle and thrives in a fast-paced, focused environment.
Key Responsibilities of the Insurance Billing Specialist:Accurately document all patient interactions and billing-related activities in the system
Post patient and insurance payments into patient profiles with precision and timeliness
Manage and resolve insurance rejections and denials
Send outstanding balance notices and remittance letters to patients
Handle remittance advice from insurance companies and follow up as needed
Strong understanding of the insurance billing cycle , with the ability to explain the process clearly to other employees when needed
Detail-oriented and self-motivated with a “head down and work” mindset
Proven experience in medical or insurance billing
Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of assigned tasks
