Job Description
Pay Rate: $17.00 an hour with $2.00 an hour additional shift differential on Saturday and Sunday
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Operate industrial laundry equipment to perform a variety of duties including but not limited to washing, drying, sorting, folding and inspecting items for wear and tear
- Ensure laundry area is clean and organized
- Sort and prioritize incoming laundry
- Stock carts and storage areas with linen and terry and maintain stock and inventory
- Assist other staff as needed, including cleaning hotel rooms
KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Preferred Knowledge and Certification:
- Previous housekeeping or laundry experience

- Accurate and detail-oriented
- Highly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
Required Abilities:
- Ability to work fast and efficiently
- Ability to follow supervisors verbal instructions
- Ability to follow established dress code policies and practice good personal hygiene
- Ability to learn appropriate chemical usage and proper equipment usage
- Ability to interact with guests, coworkers and management in a professional and courteous manner
PHYSICAL DEMANDS - Must be able to stand for long periods of time with moderate amounts of walking and occasional sitting
- Must have a good sense of balance, and be able to bend and kneel
- Must be able to reach and twist routinely
- Must be able to push, pull and grasp objects routinely
- Must have the ability to independently lift up to 40 pounds routinely
- Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions
- Must have good eye hand coordination
WORKING ENVIRONMENT - Work is performed in the laundry area, which includes exposure to cleaning chemicals and fumes, cigarette fumes and extreme heat; May have to go onto the gaming floor, which has flashing lights, frequent loud noises and cigarette smoke
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including all shifts, weekends and holidays
