Assists RN, Physician and other Providers and provides direct patient care in the ambulatory setting to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health. Will perform identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated. Cares for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted on age-related category.

Education Qualifications:

This position requires the ability to work the following schedule:

A mix of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts between the hours of 8am-8pm.

• Weekend work required every third weekend.
• Employee would be expected to work holidays if their scheduled shift falls on that day.
• Exact schedules, including holiday rotations, will be discussed during the interview process.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

• LPN: License Practical Nurse Degree

• LPN: Current nursing license in the state of North Dakota upon hire.

• CMA: Current registration or certification as a Medical Assistant OR verifiable completion of a Medical Assistant Program and must become certified within one year of date of hire. Must pass certification within two attempts.

• CMA: Must be registered as a Medication Assistant III through the North Dakota Board of Nursing upon hire.

• ALL: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 3 months of hire.
