Job Description

Working with both mechanical and electronic hardware, strong troubleshooting abilities, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. This position involves performing rekeys, pinning locks, cutting keys, and diagnosing and repairing door hardware and access control issues.

• Install, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical locking hardware.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and door access issues efficiently.
• Perform rekeying, pinning, and key cutting tasks accurately.
• Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Utilize computer systems for documentation, service requests, and communication.
• Participate in an on-call rotation (at least once per month) and be available for overtime as needed.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.

• Proven experience as a locksmith or in a related maintenance/technical field.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electronic lock systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude.
• Good computer skills and comfort using digital tools for daily tasks.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Self-motivated and reliable, with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime and on-call shifts.
