Our client, a leading manufacturing of everyday house hold items, is currently adding a Manager of Engineering to their team. This role will oversee a single plant
A typical day may involve: leading the engineering team in driving safety, innovation, efficiency, and quality throughout the organization. This role is responsible for overseeing all engineering activities related to the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing systems and production processes.

• Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prioritize and delegate engineering projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Provide guidance and support to engineering teams in solving complex technical challenges.
  • Oversee new product development and process optimization of EBM, ISBM, IM, and other manufacturing processes.
  • Drive a mindset of continuous process improvement in effort to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
  • Manage engineering budgets, optimize resource utilization, and drive cost-saving initiatives.
  Preferred Technical Skills and Experience:
  
  • Experience in GMP, ISO 9001:20015, lean manufacturing, 5S, process troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
  • Strong technical expertise in plastic processing, including knowledge of polymer materials, tooling design, and equipment operations
