Job Description

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern to join their team. As a Manufacturing Engineering Intern, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting process improvement initiatives and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Manufacturing Engineering Intern

Location: Northford, Connecticut

Pay Range: $21-$23/hr plus OT, benefits

What's the Job?

• Assist in creating and maintaining standard work documentation for manufacturing processes.
• Support process improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and reduce waste.
• Develop reports to track manufacturing performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Learn and understand various manufacturing processes to contribute effectively to the team.
• Collaborate with team members to implement safety and quality standards.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as engineering or technology.
• Experience or coursework related to manufacturing engineering or process improvement.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with engineering software tools.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.
