DOD Freight Broker Our client, a well-established 3PL, is seeking experienced Freight Brokers to take the lead on their DoD and Military freight operations. With an active SCAC in place, the foundation is ready for you to hit the ground running. This is a prime opportunity to leverage your expertise and build something from the ground up. If you have 3+ years managing, pricing, and moving DoD and Military freight, this role is designed for you! Job Description Opening for EXPERIENCED DOD freight broker only that has managed military freight using GFM/SDDC tools. Candidate must have dispatched DOD freight, created/managed GFM rate tenders as well as bid/covered spot bids and NRO's. Candidate should be able to demonstrate their past success in generating solid revenue. Minimum Required 3+ years of brokering DOD freight within the last 5 years. Management of GFM rate tables used to secure DOD freight Proven success in winning and covering DOD freight Operate with integrity Experience in creating and managing GFM rate tenders Desired Other Skills Motivated self-starter Pays attention to details Strong organizational skills Possess good problem-solving skills, able to think outside the box Strong verbal communication skills Proficient computer skills Proven track record in sourcing commercial customers outside of the DOD industry. .
