As a Motor Mechanic, you will :
- Disassemble, inspect, and rebuild DC and AC electric motors to precise specifications.
- Perform shaft pressing, bearing replacement, and rotor/armature assembly.
- Conduct basic welding and machining for motor component repairs.
- Wind and install stators for forklift and industrial motors.
- Maintain accurate records of parts used and work performed.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and customer deadlines.
Qualifications: - 2+ years of experience in electric motor repair or a related mechanical trade.
- Proficiency with hand tools, presses, and basic welding equipment.
- Ability to read and follow technical instructions and shop documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Willingness to learn and grow into an A Level Technician role.
- Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills.
This is a full-time, temp to hire opportunity . Title: Motor Mechanic Duration: 04+ Months Contract. Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm Pay Range: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour. *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
