Private Family – Center City, Philadelphia | Longport, NJ | San Diego, CA

A warm and welcoming family of three is seeking a compassionate, flexible, and experienced Nanny/Family Assistant to care for their 15 month old son and provide household support across their multiple residences in Philadelphia, Longport, NJ, and San Diego, CA. This is a long-term position with housing provided in each location.

Key Responsibilities

Childcare (Top Priority)

• Provide loving, attentive care for their 15 month old son

• Maintain and support a structured daily routine, including meal times, naps, and play

• Prioritize the child’s safety, emotional well-being, and development

• Engage in age-appropriate activities that foster learning and creativity

Family/Household Assistance

• Light housekeeping 

• Laundry for the family

• Running errands and household organization, as needed
• Provide support and flexibility throughout the day for evolving family needs
• Feed and walk (or let out) Golden doodle

Schedule

• Split Schedule: Early morning support for a few hours (until around 7am, followed by a break mid-day, and resume care in the late afternoon through early evening (typically until 7 or 8 PM; occasional later evenings until 9–10 PM, ~2x/month) 6 days a week

• Flexibility is key to accommodate the family's varying daily needs

Travel

• Domestic travel between Philadelphia, Longport, NJ, and San Diego, CAis required

• Candidate must be comfortable with travel and transitions between residences

Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years of nanny/family assistant experience

• Must be a safe, responsible driver

• Willingness to undergo comprehensive background checksand drug screeningupon offer of employment

• Strong references from previous families or employers

• Positive, professional demeanor with a “pitch-in” attitude

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and have valid identification for domestic travel

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive salary$95,000 + salary will depend on experience
