Established law firm in Downtown Fort Lauderdale is seeking to hire a certified Nurse Paralegal due to growth.
This position requires an active license as an R.N.
The Nurse Paralegal must have a minimum five years of clinical nursing.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and proficiency with CaseMap software is desirable.
Experience with the review of medical records in a plaintiff medical malpractice law firm and/or completion of a legal nurse consulting course is desirable.
Insurance Claims Adjuster experience is also desirable.
The Nurse Paralegal duties will include reviewing medical records to summarize, create chronologies, and identify critical issues relating to a patient’s care associated with complex medical malpractice cases .
