Overview Our client, a major bank in New York City, is looking for Oracle DBA . New York City Location. This is a hybrid role with 3 days per week in the office. Salary range: 145-165K, plus around 15% bonus, plus great benefits package. Responsibilities Administration of firm’s Oracle database environment including, but not limited to: System Health Monitoring, Availability and Performance troubleshooting, Database Performance Tuning, Backup/Restore/Recovery management, Maintain data integrity and security, Oracle Grid Infrastructure management, Database Storage management (including ASM), Automation of routine DBA tasks. Support Oracle environment HA/DR solutions (RAC, DataGuard). Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation to support production database environment. Support software development projects, including production releases. Coordinate and communicate with all stakeholders, learn relevant business processes and understand data flow, criticality and dependencies. Apply an innovative approach to uplift the system with more efficient and effective new technologies.
