Overview Role: Oracle DBA Location: Boise, ID (Onsite) Duration: 6 months Contract Responsibilities Manage Oracle databases at versions 19c and 23ai with strong problem-solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills. Contribute to collaboration and communication across teams. Familiar with devops practices and CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or Jenkins. Work with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket, Github, Gitlab) and manage multiple repositories, branching, and pull request workflows. Utilize configuration management tools (Ansible, Salt, Chef, or Powershell DSC) in a GitOps-driven environment. Plan resource requirements and break down projects from high-level specifications to sub-tasks. Implement and maintain large-scale OLTP and OLAP systems in critical environments including, but not limited to, Oracle Multitenant, Oracle RAC, Oracle Data Guard, RMAN, Oracle Partitioning, Oracle Data Pump, Oracle Internet Directory and Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control (OEM). Hands-on experience in Oracle Database Performance Tuning. Solid experience in database upgrades and host migrations. Provide proactive and reactive performance analysis, monitoring, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of database-related issues in support of critical day-to-day business operations. Qualifications At least 8 years of related experience managing Oracle databases (19c & 23ai). Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills. Good communication and collaboration abilities. Hands-on experience with Oracle features and tools relevant to OLTP/OLAP environments. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment requiring coordination with multiple teams.
