Together we are searching for a Family Law Paralegal to join their team at there Hackensack, NJ location, on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in preparing cases for trial by preparing and organizing exhibits, assisting with client meetings, filing motions with exhibits, organizing discovery, and organizing and coordinating witnesses.
  • Work with attorneys in preparing legal documentation, pleadings, and correspondence including interrogatories, subpoenas, deposition notices, complaints, pretrial orders, legal briefs, and affidavits.
  • Draft Case Information Statements and prepare child support guidelines.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff courteously and professionally.
  • Manage attorneys’ calendars including confirming and coordinating court appearances, meetings, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of family law experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Possess outstanding organizational and time management skills.
  • Enjoy interacting with both clients and potential clients as well as all colleagues.
  • Familiarity with CIS software, Microsoft Office 365/Teams, and SharePoint Exp.
  • Being bilingual (Fluent in Spanish) is a plus, but not mandatory.

Compensation: $65k - $70k based on experience.
