Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe and accurate radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by physicians.
• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment in accordance with safety standards and best practices .
• Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and departmental regulations regarding ionizing radiation .
• Provide patient education, answer questions, and support patients throughout their treatment process.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, dosimetrists, physicists, and the care team to ensure the highest quality of treatment.

Qualifications (Required):

• Graduate of an accredited program in Radiation Therapy .
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy.
• Licensed (or eligible for licensure) by the State of New Mexico .
• Current CPR certification .
• 35 years of clinical experience in radiation therapy (preferred but not required).
• In-depth knowledge of equipment operation, radiation safety standards, and handling of radiation sources.

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative healthcare team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support patients and coordinate with colleagues.
