Qualifications

• Education:
  • Associate in Applied Science (AAS) or graduation from an AMA-approved Radiation Therapy Program.
• Licensure:
  • Active New York State license in Radiation Therapy Technology.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in a radiation therapy setting.
• Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in safety protocols and operation of high-voltage radiation equipment.
• Soft Skills:
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and collaborative.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer targeted radiation treatments with precision and care
• Operate and maintain state-of-the-art radiation therapy equipment
• Ensure strict compliance with all radiation safety guidelines
• Accurately position patients and verify treatment setups
• Document all treatment details and patient responses
• Collaborate with oncology teams to adjust and optimize treatment plans
