Job Summary

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our growing team at Wagner Roofing. In this role you will oversee roofing projects from Estimation handover through Closeout. As a Project Manager you will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are delivered ahead of Schedule, within Budget, and to the highest quality standards, while maintaining strong client relationships. Role and Responsibilities

  1. Project Planning:
    • a)Develop detailed Project Plans, including Scope, Schedule, Budget, and Resource Requirements to ensure efficient project execution between Departments.
    • b)Coordinate with clients to understand Project Requirements and Expectations.
    • c)Conduct site visits to assess Project Scope, identify potential challenges and develop methodologies to mitigate identified challenges.
    • d)Collaborate with the Estimating and Operations Teams to develop accurate Project Estimates.
  2. Project Execution and Management:
    • a)Work in tandem with the Operation Department to ensure Procurement, Scheduling, Subcontractor Management, and Quality Control are agreed upon and finalized prior to project starting.
    • b)Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary to ensure Schedule and Budget is met.
    • Monitor Project Budget, Expenses, and Financial Performance to ensure profitability. Work closely with the Operations Lead to develop the budget, forecast, materials, labor, tools, and contingency considerations.
    • d)Forecast risk, and develop mitigation strategies to negate project delays, disruptions, and financial loss.
    • e)Maintain all required project documentation, including, but not limited to, Contracts, Permits, Drawings, Change Orders, and Correspondence.
    • f)Lead and motivate Project Teams, including Field Crews, Subcontractors, and Support Staff, to achieve project goals and objectives.
  3. Quality Assurance:
    • a)Conduct regular inspections to ensure workmanship meets quality standards and specifications.
    • b)Implement corrective actions as needed to address any project deficiencies.
    • c)Document and communicate Project Performance metrics on a daily basis to identify areas for improvement.
  4. Safety Compliance:
    • a)Enforce and promote strict adherence to current Safety Regulations and best practices to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
  5. Client Relations:
    • a)Build and maintain strong relationships with Colleagues, Clients, Subcontractors, Suppliers, and their Stakeholders.
    • b)Communicate daily with clients and serve as primary point of contact providing regular updates on Project Progress, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
    • c)Address client inquiries and concerns immediately and professionally.
    • d) Identify Opportunities for additional services or project expansions to enhance client satisfaction and drive business growth.
  6. Continuous Improvement:
    • a)Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the roofing or construction industry.
  • A great attitude, strong organizational skills, effective communication skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask, and a desire to advance are a must. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
