As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.

Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities, hazards, or potential threats within the location to the appropriate personnel.

Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and visitor movement within the healthcare environment.

Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, staff, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.

Document all activities, incidents, and observations according to site-specific procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.

Support emergency response procedures, including assisting with evacuations or lockdowns as directed by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
