Position Overview

As a Service Coordinator , you’ll play a vital role in organizing and managing day-to-day operations. You’ll coordinate scheduling, communicate with field technicians and project managers, and help ensure that all jobs are completed on time and within scope. This position requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule service calls, installations, and maintenance projects.
  • Serve as the liaison between project management, field teams, and clients.
  • Track progress, update job logs, and maintain detailed project documentation.
  • Manage daily dispatching and technician schedules.
  • Monitor and ensure deadlines are met with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Communicate project updates, changes, or issues promptly to all stakeholders.
  • Assist management with administrative support and operational coordination.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in service coordination , project management , or related field.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Reliable means of communication and transportation.

Preferred Skills:

  • Background in telecommunications, low voltage systems, or security camera installations.
  • Experience coordinating multiple crews or service routes.

Contract Details:

  • Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
  • Pay Rate: $20 – $30 per hour (based on experience and skill set)
  • Schedule: Flexible hours, project-based workload
  • Requirements: Contractor is responsible for taxes, insurance, and personal equipment.
  • Coordination: Must be available during normal business hours for communication and scheduling updates.
