Standardized Patient Nurse Practitioner Students - College of Nursing Grand Canyon University is seeking part‑time Standardized Patients (SP) to support Nurse Practitioner students and faculty. An SP is a trained individual who accurately and consistently portrays the history, personality, physical findings, emotional structure, and response patterns of a real or simulated patient. SPs provide individualized feedback on interpersonal and clinical skills to students. What We Are Offering Part‑time opportunity with a flexible schedule $27/hr for an SP1 role Opportunity to contribute to the development of the next generation of nursing professionals What You Will Do Portray all aspects of the patient scenario, including history, affect/behavior, and physical findings in a standardized, accurate, and reliable manner. Provide written and face‑to‑face verbal feedback to the supervising faculty member. Accept ongoing feedback and incorporate it into case simulations. Respond to e‑mails in a timely fashion. Be punctual and keep scheduled appointments. Perform other duties as assigned. What You Will Need High School Diploma. Willingness to agree to a flexible schedule, including possible evening appointments. Ability to travel to scheduled facilities reliably. Pass a pre‑employment background check.
