Job Details Looking for Trauma Service APP (PA or NP) Coverage! Candidate should have trauma experience, not just critical care. Schedule/Availability Requirements: June 5-6 and June 17-21 July and August, preferably 7 on/7 off PM shift (3 p.m. to 1 a.m.) May be some 6 a.m.-4 p.m. shifts; new locums cannot work these initially due to limited support Setting: Level II Trauma Center Required Procedures: Low/moderate risk procedures such as laceration repair, IV access/IV insertion, fracture and dislocation reductions. High risk procedures include G-tube placement, endotracheal intubation, cardioversion/defibrillation, LMA, paracentesis, chest tubes, central and arterial line placement.
