Job Summary and Responsibilities

• Manage patients in an inpatient rehab unit, functioning as rehabilitation team leader. Dual-management model with Hospitalists co-managing all patients. Average census of 8-12 patients/physiatrist.
• No in-house weekend calls (Inpatient Hospitalist coverage on the weekends, physiatrists on home call for rehab related issues)
• Participation in education and mentorship of CUSOM medical students
• Opportunity for growth to add Outpatient clinics in the continuum of care in Brain Injury, SCI, Amputation, and Stroke as well as spasticity management (chemo denervation, ITB pump refills), per provider interest. EMG available in clinic with robust referral volume if interested
• Large Primary care, Ortho, Spine surgery partner base for inpatient and outpatient referrals
• Competitive salary, CME allowance, relocation allowance

• American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Specified Area of Medical Specialty
• A valid and unrestricted state medical license or license-eligible

CHI Health Clinic (CHC) and CHI Immanuel Rehabilitation Institute seek a BC/BE physiatrist with particular interest in inpatient rehab services, for our 35 bed, CARF accredited inpatient rehab unit. Immanuel Rehabilitation was voted as the Best Hospital for Rehabilitation in Nebraska by the US News 2021-22. This Physician would join two other inpatient Physiatrists managing a multitude of patients with various diagnosis and injuries:
