Job Description RESPONSIBILITIES: - Scan cartons to generate a UPS or FedEx shipping label and apply to the correct carton.
- Stack "At Once" boxes on pallets and load them to proper trailers.
- Transfer cartons from the conveyor to the pallet, building up complete pallet loads.
- Scan all cartons and take them to the Pack & Hold Area.
- Responsible for scanning common carriers cartons and palletizing, shrink wrapping and loading on trailers.
- Check conveyor line for backups that could interfere with the Packing Department.
- Maintain work area is clean and safe.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
REQUIREMENTS: - Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds
- Basic computer skills
- Must be organized
- Able to learn to use RF Scanner
- Able to work on task until completion with little supervision
- Good communication skills
- Crown, Electric Pallet Jack and Forklift Certified - (we will train)
- Must have a good attendance record
- Ability to multi-task with regards to handling various shipping requirements.
- Must be able to work overtime as required including weekends
- Print bill of ladings (we will train)
