About the Role:
As a Verification Representative, you will play a key role in verifying employment and educational claims made by job applicants. This position involves a mix of outbound calls, data entry, and follow-ups to ensure the accuracy of background checks.
This is an entry-level position, perfect for those who have great typing speed, strong communication skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do:
Make outbound calls to employers, schools, and references to verify job applicant claims.
Accurately log responses and findings in our system.
Perform data entry with speed and precision (50+ WPM required).
Follow up on verification requests and ensure timely completion.
Handle inbound and outbound calls professionally.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Work collaboratively with the team to meet deadlines and ensure accuracy.
What We're Looking For:
Strong phone communication and data entry skills.
Ability to navigate computer systems and enter information quickly.
Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented.
Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset.
Ability to pass a background check.
Preferred Experience (Not Required, but a Plus!):
Experience in a call center or customer service role making verification calls.
Familiarity with legal offices, court research, or background screening.
Knowledge of FCRA regulations and employment screening processes.
Previous experience in data entry, administrative support, or finance/accounting roles.
Work Schedule & Location:
Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM.
Part-time and full-time positions available.
Evening shifts may become available - let us know if you prefer evenings!
Remote work is possible; however, in-office training is required for the first two weeks.
