Job Responsibilities The Administrative Specialist will directly assist the Dean, faculty, and students in record-keeping, scheduling, communication, and resource management for the Public Health Division. Screens, responds to, and distributes emails within the School of Public Health. Directs correspondence to various programs as appropriate. Assists Dean of Public Health, Clinical Coordinator, Program Directors, and students with My Clinical Exchange. Assists the Program Directors and students with registration each semester. Assists with annual Inventory control; scanning and categorizing of tangible nursing laboratory equipment. Maintains spreadsheets for lab inventory on all campuses with Public Health programs. Coordinate the ordering of supplies with Program Directors. Coordinates American Heart Association BLS courses four times per year for faculty and students. Assists with the coordination of pinning ceremonies biannually ( to include location, caps, pins, lamps, food, decoration). Liaisons with the College bookstore (a/k/a Chaser's Bark Shop) for items related to Akademos, to include textbooks, patches, and kits for the EMT program. Performs other duties as requested. Participate in a college committee annually. Minimum and Additional Requirements HS diploma or GED.
