Position Overview The iconic Hilton McLean Tysons Corner is looking for an experienced Banquet Captain to join the team. Located in the heart of Fairfax County's business district, our AAA Four Diamond hotel has over 28,000 sq ft. of event space with 24 meeting rooms. The role will oversee a banquet team of 15–20 people and requires 1–3 years of experience in a similar sized hotel. Ideal candidates have strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of banquet operations, both set‑up and service. Assist with planning, organizing, and executing all banquet functions including breakfast, coffee breaks, lunches, dinners, cocktail receptions, galas, etc. Greet and welcome client representatives and guests, responding to requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner. Participate in and lead department meetings. Process banquet checks accurately and efficiently for payment. Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service. Serve alcoholic/non‑alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local, and company regulations.
