About the Role
The Company is seeking a Corporate Counsel to join its Global Support team, with a focus on providing strategic legal guidance and oversight to the Cyber and Gaming verticals within Festivals. The successful candidate will be a proactive and solution-oriented legal professional with a strong background in commercial law, contract negotiation, intellectual property management, and stakeholder collaboration. Key responsibilities for this role include leading the review, drafting, and negotiation of a range of high-value commercial contracts, providing strategic guidance for commercial engagements with global clients and suppliers, and updating agreement templates to ensure compliance with changing business policies and regulatory requirements. The role also involves managing complex IP and copyright-related matters, supporting business development opportunities, and handling a variety of US-specific legal issues, including regulatory and compliance matters. Applicants for the Corporate Counsel position at the company should have 2-4 years' of qualified legal experience in the US, with a strong preference for those with a background in an in-house legal function. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in commercial legal matters, legal risk management, and governance, and a good understanding of data privacy and AI issues.
