Job Description

The leader in this position will partner closely with HR and Business leaders to boost organizational health through best-in-class development and delivery of organizational development and effectiveness (OD/OE) solutions . This role adds value by providing strategic direction and oversight on our performance and development cycle, team dynamics, onboarding, and other critical OD/OE focus areas, as needed. + Lead defining the organizational strategy and approach for assigned organizational development and effectiveness focus areas. + Connect regularly with business and HR leaders to understand organizational needs, gaps, and opportunities to boost organizational health and effectiveness. + Define high impact strategies and solutions to enhance organizational effectiveness in defined focus areas and direct the global implementation and operationalization (e.g., Change Management, Organization Design, Performance & Development cycle, Employee Engagement & Listening, Onboarding etc.). + Develop and deliver effective tools and resources to enable development and HR partners to lead OD/E activities within their respective businesses. + Assess organizational health and define root causes or risks to effectiveness. + Engage with all center-based HR teams to ensure OD/E tools and resources are aligned to standard processes, practices, and system-enabled, where possible. + Partner across the POD CoE to design and implement training programs and initiatives to enhance the skills and capabilities of HR and People Leaders, ensuring alignment with organizational effectiveness strategy. + Drive OD/E initiatives for large-scale, complex scenarios in partnership with HR and Business leaders. + Foster collaboration and communication globally to drive alignment to OD/OE strategy. + Influence HR and Business Leaders to assess organizational risks and define the appropriate level of intervention needed to improve the health of the organization. + Coach HR Leaders, Development Partners, and Business Leaders on the OD/OE cycle and related activities. + Actively scan the external environment and build relationships with external partners and vendors to ensure OD/E tools and initiatives can benefit from external perspective and best practices. + Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in areas of focus. + Set the priorities for respective areas to direct where time and resources should be deployed. + Utilize opportunities to leverage data to drive insights and decision making. **Minimum Qualifications (Required):** - Bachelor's degree required or equivalent - 10+ years of work experience required - Previous HR or role-related experience required **Preferred Qualifications (Strongly desired):** + 7+ years business-facing HR, HR COE, HR Operations, or role-related experience preferred​ + Experience in multiple HR disciplines or client groups preferred​ + Exceptional communication and skills to effective collaborate and influence at all levels of the organization + Proven experience in organizational effectiveness, change management, or a similar role + Strong understanding of process improvement and change management methodologies and principles Stryker is a global leader in medical technologies and, together with its customers, is driven to make healthcare better.
