About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Business Development and Strategy with a focus on transforming the future of cancer therapy. The successful candidate will be a passionate and experienced leader, adept at building and managing relationships both internally and externally. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient coordination of global partnerships and will involve a hands-on approach to alliance management, business development, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong scientific background, at least 12 years of experience in the pharma/biopharmaceutical industry, and a proven track record in alliance management, business development, and business strategy, preferably in the oncology field. Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include managing the ongoing business relationships with commercial alliance partners, proactively tracking and communicating contract milestones, and collaborating with various teams to ensure the success of each partnership. The role also involves identifying potential new partners, leading specific partnering initiatives, and contributing to strategic business cases. The candidate should be capable of operating at both strategic and operational levels, with the ability to influence and work cross-functionally. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is required, with an MBA or PhD in life sciences being a plus. The role demands a professional with a strong work ethic, the ability to operate independently, and a commitment to the mission of transforming cancer therapy.
