Position Overview:

Were seeking a skilled and dependable Fleet Mechanic to take charge of maintaining our growing fleet of gas and diesel trucks, trailers, and landscaping equipment. Youll be based out of our dedicated mechanic shop, complete with a lift, large bay door, welding equipment, air compressors, and more. The role includes everything from preventative maintenance and diagnostics to field repairs and occasional custom fabrication projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular preventative maintenance on trucks, trailers, and landscaping equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair gas and diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, etc.
• Respond to service calls and conduct field repairs when needed.
• Keep maintenance logs and proactively schedule inspections and service intervals.
• Maintain an organized and safe shop space.
• Assist with welding/fabrication and custom shop projects when time allows.
• Communicate with management and field staff to prioritize repairs and minimize downtime.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5years of experience as a mechanic (fleet, diesel, or heavy equipment preferred).
• Must bring your own tools (we supply shop equipment like welders, compressors, etc.).
• Welding/fabrication experience a plus.
• Certification (ASE or similar) preferred but not required.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable working independently.
• Valid drivers license required (CDL a plus but not required).
