The Guest Service Associate is responsible for providing exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly and efficient manner. The Guest Service Associate is responsible for parking and retrieving guest vehicles in a prompt yet safe manner and assisting guests with luggage, including delivery and pick up of guest luggage (where applicable) during arrival and departure. Essential functions include maintaining a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients; greeting guests; parking and retrieving vehicles cautiously; assisting guests with bell services and luggage storage; providing guests with directions, taxi, reservations, and other inquiries; explaining parking rates and retrieval procedures; issuing claim checks and collecting them; completing and maintaining all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, location of vehicle, damage survey and claim check receipt; calculating and collecting revenue when needed. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and one month related experience or equivalent. Skills include customer service, communication, basic math, and ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable. Physical demands include ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and work outdoors in various weather conditions. Travel up to 5% may be required.
