Job Description

Accentuate Staffing is assisting an established manufacturer in the Oxford area who is hiring a Lead Plastic Injection Mold Operator to join their team. This is a great opportunity working Monday-Thursday, 6:30am-4:30pm.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and oversee a production line of 12 plastic injection molding machines.
• Maintain and service approximately 20 molds, including performing full tear-downs and rebuilds as needed.
• Monitor machine performance, make process adjustments based on test data, and ensure consistent product quality.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and automation issues to minimize downtime.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment, molds, and automation systems.
• Use touchscreens and automation controls to operate and fine-tune machine processes.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and production teams to ensure smooth operation of the line.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in plastic injection molding strongly preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to maintain and repair molds and automated production equipment.
• Familiarity with hydraulic systems, automation arrays, and touchscreen-operated controls.
• Ability to analyze test data and make informed adjustments to optimize production.
• Proven troubleshooting skills in a manufacturing environment.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
