*Duties*
* Manage all phases of personal injury cases from initial client consultation through trial and settlement negotiations
* Conduct thorough legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools to support case development
* Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements with precision and clarity
* Develop case strategies by analyzing evidence, medical records, and liability issues to maximize client outcomes
* Negotiate settlements effectively while maintaining a focus on client interests and case value
* Represent clients confidently in court proceedings, mediations, and depositions with strong advocacy skills
* Collaborate with experts such as medical professionals or accident reconstruction specialists to strengthen cases
* Maintain meticulous case files and ensure compliance with all legal administrative requirements
*Experience*
* Proven experience handling personal injury litigation cases from inception through trial in a fast-paced law office environment
* Strong knowledge of personal injury law principles, procedures, and courtroom practices
* Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive legal research using Westlaw and LexisNexis platforms
* Excellent writing skills with the ability to craft compelling legal arguments and clear documentation
* Skilled negotiator with a track record of successful settlement resolutions
* Familiarity with related practice areas such as estate planning, family law, workers' compensation law, or environmental law is a plus but not required
* Experience working with diverse legal databases and conducting detailed legal research is essential
* Prior legal administrative experience that supports efficient case management and client communication
