Job Summary

The Sr. Architect will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing advanced GIS solutions focusing on ESRI UN Architecture and GIS Infra Architecture. With a hybrid work model and day shifts the candidate will contribute to innovative projects that enhance utility operations and data modeling. The role requires a deep understanding of ESRI GIS Architecture to drive impactful solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive GIS solutions that align with business objectives and enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ESRI UN Architecture into existing systems ensuring seamless functionality.
• Develop GIS Infra Architecture strategies that support scalable and sustainable infrastructure solutions.
• Lead efforts in GIS Data Modeling to optimize data management and improve decision-making processes.
• Provide technical expertise in ESRI GIS Architecture to guide project development and execution.
• Analyze current systems and propose enhancements that leverage GIS technologies for improved performance.
• Oversee the deployment of GIS solutions ensuring they meet quality standards and project requirements.
• Conduct regular assessments of GIS systems to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
• Monitor industry trends and advancements in GIS to keep solutions cutting-edge and competitive.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all GIS-related projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into effective GIS solutions.
• Drive initiatives that utilize GIS technologies to positively impact utility operations and societal benefits.
• Design and implement ArcGIS Enterprise ArcGIS Pro and Utility Network services including versioning rules subnetwork management and tracing.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to deliver robust GIS infrastructure.
• Lead or contribute to RFP responses system architecture documents and implementation roadmaps.
• Define and implement project roadmaps aligning business goals with technical execution.
• Manage project risks proactively and implement mitigation strategies.

Qualifications

• Possess extensive experience in ESRI UN Architecture and GIS Infra Architecture demonstrating a strong technical foundation.
• Have a proven track record in GIS Data Modeling showcasing the ability to optimize data structures for business needs.
• Demonstrate expertise in ESRI GIS Architecture with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
• Experience in the utilities domain is highly desirable providing valuable insights into industry-specific challenges.
• Exhibit strong analytical skills to assess system performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Show proficiency in collaborating with diverse teams to achieve project goals and enhance system integration.
• Display a commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest GIS technologies and practices.

Certifications Required: Certified GIS Professional (GISP) ESRI Technical Certification
