Job Title : Full-Time Therapist (LMSW or Higher) – Specializing in Trauma, CBT, and EMDR for Children and Adolescents

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate therapist with expertise in trauma-informed care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to provide services to children and adolescents. This is a full-time position intended for a licensed mental health professional committed to assisting young individuals in navigating and overcoming the challenges associated with trauma and mental health issues. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in engaging with children and adolescents, applying age-appropriate therapeutic methodologies to facilitate healing and resilience.

Responsibilities

1. Deliver individual and group therapy sessions that are customized to address the specific needs of children and adolescents, emphasizing trauma-informed care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) techniques.
2. Develop and execute individualized treatment plans designed to enhance each client’s emotional and mental well-being.
3. Document all client interactions meticulously and maintain comprehensive and accurate clinical records.
4. Engage in regular supervision, participate in case reviews, and pursue opportunities for professional development to enhance clinical competencies.

Qualifications

1. Possession of a Licensed Master Social Worker (Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC), or an equivalent credential). 
2. Demonstrated experience in working with children and adolescents, particularly those who have experienced trauma.
3. Proficiency in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), coupled with a steadfast commitment to trauma-informed and client-centered care.
4. Exceptional interpersonal skills with the capacity to effectively engage and develop rapport with young clients.
5. Strong organizational abilities, with meticulous attention to detail in both documentation and treatment planning.
