Dental Office Manager | Spectra Dental Specialist | Hoover, AL

Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Some Fridays, maybe once a month)
Compensation: Based on experience
Job Type: Full-Time

Spectra Dental Specialist is seeking a Dental Office Manager to lead and support our team in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations. We’re looking for a motivated, people-focused leader who is passionate about team development and creating a high-performing, positive office culture.

What You’ll Do:

As the Office Manager, you’ll take ownership of the office and be a driving force behind team performance, patient satisfaction, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example with professionalism, accountability, and a patient-first mindset
  • Create a respectful and collaborative workplace for all team members
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient needs with urgency and empathy
  • Build and maintain strong doctor and team relationships
  • Coach and develop team members, providing consistent, constructive feedback
  • Facilitate daily morning huddles and monthly team meetings to align and energize the office
  • Recruit, hire, and retain top talent to support office success
  • Monitor and achieve key performance goals and budget targets
  • Adapt to a fast-paced environment and lead through change

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of dental office experience
  • Minimum 3 years of management or leadership experience (Dental or healthcare preferred)
  • Experience with Dentrix software (a plus)
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Friendly, team-oriented attitude and a drive to grow
